Bonding

The term bonding has two different meanings. Traditionally, it has meant the application of a composite resin to teeth to improve their appearance. It also means the process by which composite resin and ceramic restorations are secured to the teeth.

Before and After Photos

Before: Note the misaligned, misshapen, and discolored teeth. After: To create a natural, uniform look, the six front teeth were recontoured and resculpted with the use of directly applied composite bonding rather than porcelain. This is a good illustration of how bonding alone can be used to create a beautiful smile.

Before: Note spaces and irregularly shaped and angled teeth.  After: Hand-sculpted bonding material was used to close gaps for a more attractive and healthy appearance. The same material was also used to reconstruct shapes and angles for a more uniform smile. This procedure took just one visit.
